About the role
We are hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running an Instamart dark store. You will lead a team of Store Executives, Pickers and Loaders, plan shifts, and make sure customer orders are fulfilled quickly and correctly. You will also manage inventory, control wastage, track daily store performance and ensure all company SOPs, safety and hygiene standards are followed. This role is ideal for candidates with retail or warehouse experience who want to grow into a Store Manager position.
Responsibilities
• Manage daily store operations and team shifts • Supervise Store Executives, Pickers and Loaders • Ensure fast and accurate order fulfilment • Monitor inventory, stock levels and replenishment • Control wastage, damages and stock losses • Track store performance and daily reports • Ensure safety, hygiene and company SOPs are followed • Handle staff attendance, training and escalations
Requirements
• Qualification: Graduate preferred • 1–3 years experience in retail / quick commerce / warehouse • Team handling experience • Good communication skills • Basic knowledge of Excel and smartphone apps • Ready to work in rotational shifts • Candidates living near the store preferred
